Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner — or as we at Teen Vogue like to called them, Kenito, Bendall, or Kenny and Benny — weren't at all the celebrity couple we expected, but turns out the unlikely duo was capable of supplying some serious “aww” moments. Jenner, who previously dated NBA players like ex-boyfriend Devin Booker, was first spotted with the Puerto Rican musician (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) in early 2023, and things have both heated up and fizzled out since then.
The rumored couple kept much of their relationship private save a few photographed outings, but slowly but surely started giving us more of what we crave: subtle sneak peeks at their relationship. Benito, in particular, publicly shared more of his time with the model, including a few Instagram Stories that will go down in history.

February 2023: Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner are first spotted together.
The model and rapper were first linked after being spotted together on a potential double date with Jenner's pals Hailey and Justin Bieber. A source told People that the two met via mutual friends. "Kendall recently started hanging out with him," the source shared. “They were introduced by friends. He moved to L.A. a few weeks ago and bought a house.” According to said source, Jenner was “having fun” with Benito. “He is different from guys that she dated in the past. He is very charming.”
March 8, 2023: The pair are seen kissing in public.
If you had any doubts about the potential couple, these paparazzi pictures put them to rest. TMZ caught Jenner and Bad Bunny sharing a kiss after a sushi date with friends and Jenner's little sister Kylie.
March 2023: Fans speculate whether Bad Bunny shaded Devin Booker in a song.
In his verse in Eladio Carrión’s song “Coco Chanel,” Bad Bunny seemingly shaded Jenner's ex-boyfriend Devin Booker. “I’m not bad baby, that’s a gimmick / But the Puerto Rico sun is warmer than the one in Phoenix… she knows it," he rapped, potentially referencing Booker's current team, the Phoenix Suns. Jenner and Booker broke up in November 2022 after two years together due to their “incredibly busy schedules," reported People.
April 2023: Bad Bunny and Jenner go horseback riding.
You can't date noted horse girl Kendall Jenner without a trip to the stables. In early April, TMZ reported that the pair headed to the Hidden Hills Equestrian Center for a 90-minute ride, including saddling up together and taking pics. Adorable. Not too long after, Kenito were seen leaving a concert together, with the rapper behind the wheel of his Bugatti and Jenner riding shotgun.
May 2023: Bad Bunny potentially hides Jenner-related easter eggs in a music video.
Could Benito's song “Where She Goes” be an ode to the supermodel? Fans thought so, given that the rapper told Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe that he had written the song around the time he and Jenner started hanging out. The music video for said single includes a woman in lingerie and angel wings (Jenner used to be a Victoria's Secret Angel), imagery of horses (Jenner's fave), and a scorpion, which could be a reference to Jenner's astrological sign (Scorpio). Definitely compelling, but not 100% confirmation of a relationship, either.
May 2023: Jenner and Bad Bunny make their Met Gala (afterparty) debut.
They didn't walk the red carpet together, but Jenner and Benito were spotted out and about together at a Met Gala afterparty. After swapping their Gala looks for more casual party clothes, with Jenner in a sheer silver romper bodysuit under a black thong and the musician in trousers and a suede jacket, the two hit the town together.
On the day of the Met, People reported an update on the status of Bendall's relationship, per a close source: “Kendall is happy… It was a slow start, but they spend almost every day together now. He hangs out with her friends and she hangs out with his. It's more of a relationship now. Kendall is not seeing anyone else. She really likes him."
May 2023: Jenner and Bad Bunny attend a Lakers game together.
Shortly after the Met Gala, the couple hit up a Lakers game with their friends, Odd Future alum Yung Taco and photographer Renell Medrano, and their court-side conversation even became a meme. All jokes aside, this was a pretty high-profile appearance for the two.
June 2023: Bad Bunny talks about keeping his private life private.
Despite the fact that he's one of the biggest stars on the planet, Benito told Rolling Stone that he works hard to protect his privacy — especially when it comes to his relationships. “People know everything about me, so what’s left for me to protect?” he shared. “My private life, my personal life.” He didn't want to respond to any Jenner-related questions, saying, "In the end, the only thing I have is my privacy.”
July 2023: Bad Bunny and Jenner vacation in Idaho.
As noted by People, Kenny and Benny jetted off to the Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club in Harrison, Idaho, where a source said the pair looked “really cute” together. “They definitely seem in love, and super serious,” the source explained. “They're really friendly.” The source said that the couple spent time working out together and brought a dog along.
August 2023: Jenner and Bad Bunny cuddle up at a Drake concert.
Kenito donned their best his-and-hers leather pants looks to see Drake perform in Los Angeles and an eagle-eyed fan caught them hugging and cuddling throughout the show. In the short clip, the couple is seen almost smooching until Jenner basically melts. Same, girl.
August 2023: Bad Bunny soft launches Jenner on Instagram.
OK, so it's not her face, but we did get to hear Jenner's voice, which is good enough for us. In one video, likely taken on a hike, you can hear Jenner cooing over a chipmunk while Bad Bunny says, “Mami, be careful." Jenner asks, “Rabies?” and he replies, “Mosquitoes.” (That's definitely her voice — trust me, I've watched a lot of KUWTK in my life.)
The audio snippet wasn't Jenner's only appearance in said stories… well, sort of. The rapper snapped a photo of two drinks made with 818 tequila — the brand founded by Jenner — and also wore a small silver “K” necklace in a recent selfie video.
September 22, 2023: Kenito make their front-row debut at Gucci.
Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny are some of the most influential people when it comes to fashion, and their power was proven when they sat front-row together for Sabato De Sarno's debut Gucci Show at Milan Fashion Week. Sure, they could have been sat together just out of pure coincidence, but you know that's not the case. Just days after the show, Gucci unveiled a campaign starring Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner, essentially serving as a hard launch of their relationship.
October 6, 2023: Jenner flies to Miami to support Bad Bunny after the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
In early October, Bad Bunny made his way to Florida to perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, and Jenner joined him shortly after to spend some quality time together in the Sunshine State. Roughly two months after they were last spotted together for SNL, it was reported by People that Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner had broken up. A source close to the duo seemingly confirmed the split to the outlet while speculation was at an all-time high following solo spottings of Jenner in Aspen and Las Vegas.
