Bella Hadid never met a Y2K trend she didn't want to try, and her latest look features one of the most iconic (and divisive) footwear options of the '00s: the UGG boot.
The model was snapped out and about in New York City on September 19 wearing the new UGG Classic Ultra Mini Platform short shearling boot with a pair of white micro shorts, a graphic tee, and a very Y2K black and blue leather jacket. She styled her UGG boots and shorts look with calf-length white socks worn scrunched down, a pair of wraparound black sunglasses, a headband, and a piece of NYC pizza (jealous) for the ultimate model-off-duty vibe with a signature Bella Hadid street style twist.
Though new, the short boot is already a model favorite. Bella's sister Gigi Hadid has been spotted in the comfy, cozy platform boot, as have Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, and Adut Akech.
The style, which looks like a classic mini UGG boot but features a two-inch platform, is also going viral on TikTok, thanks in part to a video by creator @tariromakoni, who shared her thoughts on Bella's latest UGG-centric look. "Why is no one talking about the fact that it is now fall? Fall means comfort, comfort means UGGs. Which UGGs are we buying? I need us to have a conversation," she says in the video. "Obviously when Bella was wearing these ... I have to ask, 'Let me my mind my own business and give my girls a subtle heads up that you're about to be indoctrinated by these boots."

If TikTok is to be believed, we will all be wearing the Classic Ultra Mini Platform this season. The boot has now been the centerpiece of styling videos, and is referred to as "the only shoes I will be wearing this fall." Users are posting unboxing videos of their fresh new pairs and posting videos of Bella in the boots as the reason why they purchased — some users even bought them before getting out of bed for the day!
