The first thing I ate this morning was

a blue slushy at my premiere for the Leap movie.

That's why I have a blue tongue, if you're wondering.

Hi Teen Vogue, I'm Maddie Ziegler and today,

we're going to be playing the game of firsts.

My first word was, mama.

My first song that I memorized all the words to was,

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star but my mom said that

I couldn't pronounce it completely right,

so I would say, Tinkle, tinkle, little star.

My first vacation I ever went on was

when I was so tiny, I can't even remember it

but we went to Orlando and then we went to Disney World.

My first reaction to seeing myself on television

was very, very weird and I first of,

just hated the sound of my voice.

My first red carpet that I ever attended

was Teen Choice Awards and I remember that day so clear,

I met Justin Bieber and I was fangirling so hard.

The first time that I was ever really embarrassed

was when I peed my pants in tap class.

But I was like, four, so, it's okay.

My first best friend was when I was about three years old

and his name was Matias and he was my next door neighbor

and we'd share cookies together.

My first acting gig was Austin and Ally on Disney Channel

and it was my favorite show, so I was so excited.

The first I knew I could really succeed at acting

was when I filmed the Book of Henry,

which is about a year and a half ago

and it just came out and, I was

very proud of how it turned out.

The first time I found out I could really succeed at dancing

was when Sia asked me to be in

her music video for Chandelier.

My first friend in Hollywood was my best friend to this day,

named Lilia and I'm going to her house

after this, so I'm very excited.

My first crush was Zac Efron when I was five years old,

I saw High School Musical and I fell in love

and til this day, I am obsessed with him

and I would like to be in Baywatch 2 with him.

My first thought for when I woke up this morning was,

what is my hair and makeup going to be for today.

If I won a billion dollars, the first thing I would do,

donate like all of it to charity and then,

leave a tiny bit left to buy like 6,000 dogs.

So I don't really consider myself famous,

but I guess, getting to attend the red carpets

that I went to, I thought that was pretty cool.

My first pet was a Yorkie named, Gucci

and she was very little and she

used to pee everywhere on the floor, on my toys.

The first thing I would do if I had a day off,

would be to hibernate and just

eat a bunch of food and watch Netflix.

My first big fashion splurge was when I was like,

eight years old and I used to go to the store

called, Justice and I just bought all the sparkly

matching outfits from head to toe,

with the head band all the way to the

flip flops with the bows on them.

It was really embarrassing but I thought

I was the coolest girl in school, but I was not.

The first thing that I learned

about beauty was, less is more.

When I was little, I thought that I could wear

as much makeup as I want, but I feel like,

now I wear less than what I wanted to wear when I was eight.

One of the first movies that I remember seeing was,

Little Mermaid, I am obsessed with Ariel

and she's my favorite Disney princess.

My first role model was Miley Cyrus,

because I was a huge fan of Hannah Montana.

I wanted to have like a double life like she did.

The first time I nailed a really complicated dance move

was when I was six years old, I did a

front aerial for the first time and I have it on video

and I was very excited about it

and my teacher was like, go back, do it again.

so, kinda defeated my excitement, but...

The first time I realized I was pretty cool at dance

and realized I could make it a career,

was when I started the reality show at eight years old

because who would have thought I'd be dancing on a TV show,

which was really cool, but I am a very hard critic

of myself and I still think that I could be a better dancer

like, I still have so many flaws that I could work on.

My first thought when I found out I

was going to be homeschooled was an amazing feeling

because as much as I was sad that I would be leaving

all my amazing teachers and friends,

I was so excited because that meant I got to dance more.

The first time I realized I had fans

was when I was going into an ice cream shop with my friends

and there were two girls screaming my name

and I never thought that anyone would

know who I was besides my friends.

My first thought when I found out I was moving to LA

was probably the best day of my life.

I still have a home in Pittsburg,

but I'm in LA now, which is like, the best feeling

because it's so much fun here and there's work out here

and I've so many new friends here so, it's pretty great.

Thank you guys so much for watching

and don't forget to subscribe to the Teen Vogue channel.

Bye!
