If you’ve been making plans to watch the new Mean Girls movie musical ever since the trailer dropped, you might want to add another stop to your schedule after the movie theater: Bucket Listers is bringing the film's iconic universe to life with two very special events in Los Angeles and New York.

Media experience brand Bucket Listers has teamed up with Mean Girls both old and new to set up a limited-edition, interactive pop-up, officially called The Mean Girls Experience, that will allow fans to “experience North Shore High School like never before.” The pop-up will open to the public in Los Angeles on January 12, 2024 — coinciding with the new film's premiere date — and on January 19 in New York City.

But what exactly does The Mean Girls Experience entail? Good question! So many things, actually. First and foremost, the pop-ups will feature a “fast-casual restaurant” serving “chef-driven, cafeteria-style” food and desserts, which will, of course, all be Mean Girls-themed.

Some things to expect are “Burn Book burger sliders,” “Stab Caesar salad,” “Is Butter a Carb? cookies,” and a “Fetch strudel.” (If you're a Master Chef fan, you’d be pleased to know semi-finalist Becky Brown is in charge of the kitchen.)

Of course, there’ll be more to do than just eating at The Mean Girls Experience. The pop-up will also feature recreations of the film’s set and a full-on Mean Girls Museum showcasing set pieces and original costumes, exclusive merchandise available to purchase, and last but not least, a Winter Talent Show stage photo opportunity. If you've ever dreamed of being the fifth Plastic performing “Jingle Bell Rock,” this is your time to shine. (Just make sure you don’t hit anyone if the face with a boombox, will you?)

Per Bucket Listers, every ticket to The Mean Girls Experience will include “a reserved seat and guaranteed window of time to dine, a choice of entree, a Candy Cane-Gram, and the option to order additional North Shore shareables.” Overall, it is a very fetch plan.

Tickets for both Los Angeles and New York experiences will be available exclusively through Bucket Lister and start at $35 per person, so make sure to join the waitlists now to be kept in the know.
