Megan Fox is no stranger to a major fashion statement, including those with a message. Her latest is one many of us can relate to and she did it in the trendiest way.

On December 7, Brittney Boyce, aka @nails_of_la, the go-to celebrity nail artist for stars like Megan Fox, Kim Kardashian, Charli D'Amelio and more, shared a clip of the relatable manicure on Instagram. In the video, Fox shows off her fresh set, which feature long, square-shaped nails covered in metallic silver chrome polish. On top of the nails, there are 3D bubbles, hearts on each thumb, and across both hands, bubble lettering spells out “boys suck.” She's so real for that.

In an interview with Allure, Boyce revealed that the set took 5 hours and she sculpted the clay by hand, but she said it was totally worth it. “We wanted to create something cool, edgy, 3D. Since we’re both obsessed with chrome nails, we opted for this look,” Boyce said.

This isn't the first time that Boyce and Fox proved to be the ultimate dream team when it comes to manicures. Last year, the duo did aura nails, but gave the trendy style a personal touch by opting for meaningful colors that were so on brand for Fox.

Fox has been experimenting with her look lately, especially in the beauty department. In September of this year, she dyed her hair cherry red with a $17 product. (Creative and cost-efficient!) She accessorized the bright bob with hair pins that read, “f*ck off.” It seems like she's really not afraid to speak—or wear—her mind, and we love that for her.

Fox also went on a tattoo spree earlier this year, getting a cover-up tattoo across her abdomen and finger. In fact, those are the same pieces we see today that perfectly frame and add flair to her expressive manicure sets. We can't wait to see what she does next!
