Behind the Scenes of a Teen's Prom Makeover

My name is Zineb.

Growing up, I really enjoyed looking at prom pictures

in magazines and always flipping through them.

[Narrator] Zineb was all about red carpet glamour,

and we really helped her shine.

Here's more of her story.

I was super happy when I found out that I had won.

The first person that came to my head was Milan, my friend,

because we had gone to middle school together,

so we went to middle school prom together,

and we had so much fun choosing out dresses for that,

and it was such a great experience that when I found out

about the prom over Teen Vogue was having,

I was like, Milan has to come with me,

it's like, no doubt about it.

I had a idea of what I wanted in my head,

when I got there, I was like,

I don't think I know which one I want.

'Cause it was just so many dresses, and so many options,

but I found the right one, I think.

I really liked the ones that were more form-fitting,

the puffy one, I wasn't really into.

In middle school, I wore a puffy dress

and it wasn't a really good experience. (laughs)

I like the dress that I chose because

I feel like it looked really Hollywood,

very

Beyonce, very, I don't know, red carpet. (laughs)
