There's a new celebrity face in town at Givenchy Beauty. The French fashion house just announced that Joshua of the K-pop group SEVENTEEN is their newest brand ambassador, and the partnership couldn't be more perfect.
Joining forces with a beauty brand is practically a rite of passage for pop stars and actors, and those partnerships make a ton of sense. After all, when your fave reps a certain brand, you're more likely to pay attention and, not to mention, buy their go-to products.
For Joshua, linking up with Givenchy Beauty felt natural and organic, and he'd long been a fan of the brand. “I am very happy and honored to have been chosen as an ambassador for Givenchy Beauty, a brand that I have always loved," the musician said in a statement. "I feel that Givenchy Beauty is a unique brand that has a classy yet witty side. I'm really looking forward to working with such a brand to express myself and the brand.”
In the first official photo of Joshua as an ambassador, the musician holds the Prisme Libre Loose Powder, a fan favorite complexion product that frequently pops up on TikTok. Earlier this year, Joshua and fellow SEVENTEEN bandmate Jun appeared in a video for Givenchy Beauty, where they posed with Prism Libre, a lipstick and a fragrance. Joshua's fellow ambassadors include Monsta X's Hyungwon and TWICE's Nayeon. The partnership has just begun, and we can't wait to see more from Joshua and Givenchy Beauty.
