The sisterhood is still alive and well — pants optional. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants stars Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel brought back early 2000s memories on Friday night as they reunited as a quartet once more.

The gang was back in one location in New York City to support their former co-star America Ferrera for a special SAG-AFTRA screening and Q&A of Barbie. The four actors were all smiles in photos and videos as they posed together for the first time in years.

In perfect matching sisterhood fashion, Lively, Ferrera, Tamblyn, and Bledel were all wore different shades of Barbie pink in honor of the special evening. Lively showed up in a bright pink mini-dress with tulle detailing and matching pink gloves. Ferrera wore a cream-colored wrap dress and tights, while Tamblyn opted for an all-pink suit. Bledel wore a chic magenta skirt with a black peplum top.

Ferrera, of course, stars as Gloria in the Greta Gerwig-directed film, a role that Lively paid special tribute to in her post about the weekend.

"Some weeks are for the man in your life. Some weeks are for the women… I was so happy to celebrate my denim sister @americaferrera. She’s the heart and soul of @barbiethemovie because she’s the heart and soul of everything she’s a part of," Lively wrote. “I’ve known her for 20 years. Since I was 16. I’ve watched her live, grow, soar, fall, make, break, push, fight, win, create, forge, disrupt, way make, lead, lead, lead. That speech she gives as Gloria felt as close to real as anything I’ve ever seen on screen. Because that’s who she is. She’s that spectacular, passionate, inspiring and full of heart in her own life.”

To share the magic of the evening, Ferrera posted a video of the four women embracing each other and posing, while audio from the first film played in the background. “Call me crazy, but it's scientifically impossible that a pair of pants can fit me,” Bledel's character said. “And me. And Me. And me," the others chime in.

The four actors have had mini-reunions over the years with just two or three gathering at events or spending time together, but the four are rarely shown altogether since the first film was released in 2005. Based on the beloved 2001 novel of the same name, the story follows four friends who have separate summers away from each other, but remain connected through a magical pair of pants that somehow fits all of them. The coming-of-age story propelled each actor's career and has remained a fan favorite.

They've also been vocal about reuniting for a third movie — which would likely follow the women into their adult lives — but no concrete plans have been made yet. Alexis Bledel, who plays Lena in the film, said in 2018 that an official pitch was made for another movie. Blake Lively also echoed that she would like to see another film, while Amber Tamblyn said it's “complicated” because of how busy each actor is.

In 2020, Lively gushed about her three co-stars and the special experience they had creating The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. “America Ferrara, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel – those are three women who I met when I was 16 years old and I’ve been lucky to call them my friends and mentors ever since,” she told PEOPLE.

“What they do – whether artistically, politically, socially, personally – they really use their voice,” Lively continued. “And whether people agree with their voice or not is not the thing that I’m most concerned with as much as, it’s nice to see women who are not only empowering themselves but empowering other women to stand up and to really fight and work for what they believe in.”

Does this little reunion mean that we might finally see Carmen, Tibby, Lena, and Bridget back together again? Please make it happen, Hollywood!
