A couple of years ago when I did my first movie,

that was the first time I felt

like I can really embrace everything

about myself and do it.

I think it's something that I was born with

because even when nobody believed in me,

I would be like, okay watch.

I'll show you. I got this. (giggling)

I guess when I was a child like 12 when I believed

that I could go to a movie and pretend

that I'm the actual character,

so I actually believed that I can replicate the role,

so I would do it in my garden and stuff.

The first app I check in the morning is,

of course, Instagram.

I have to go on and see what's poppin' on the Instagram.

(laughing)

Okay. Oh, I see you, girl. (laughing)

The first app I check when I wake up is Tinder.

I mean Twitter. And the weather. The weather.

I read the news.

The first time I was ever star-struck

was when I met Nicki Minaj.

That was a moment. She was so beautiful.

In high school, I saved all my money,

and I bought these BCBG boots.

They were like calf length, flat, brown leather boots,

and I thought they were so cool, and they were not.

I spent $200 on a Hello Kitty backpack,

and I thought I was like ballin'.

I thought I was so fly.

Probably when I bought a North Face butt pack.

You guys remember North Face butt packs?

My first pet was Bubbles, and she was a pony.

A cat named Buttons, and he used to suck on my ear

when I went to bed.

So I won a billion dollars, the first thing

I would do is buy shoes.

That's not true.

A lot of land so I can build schools and stuff

and medical centers as well for places that are deprived.

I'm just always embarrassed. I'm embarrassed right now.

(laughing)

Oh my gosh. What the heck?

Yeah, I'm not telling.

The first thing about beauty is

the beauty comes from within.

I feel like the more that you use beauty products,

the more your body depends on them, like drugs.

My first big gig was to see a band called

Bombay Bicycle Club, and then saw them

like six times afterwards.

I didn't understand how movies and film worked,

and I watched Selena and I was like mom,

how did they know from when she was little

that she was gonna be famous and then

she turned into Jennifer Lopez.

I didn't understand.
