So I was like, does anybody have doggies?

One of Sarah's one-liners that we can't get

over right now.

Brilliant.

(upbeat music)

Hi my name is Melonie Diaz.

Hello I'm Madeleine Mantock.

Hi I'm Sarah Jeffery.

And we are the cast of charmed on The CW.

And we are going to be playing Teen Vogue's

games of firsts.

The 90's embodied.

Yes.

I feel like their fashion was so on point,

For that era. Yeah.

Like crop tops, like cool. Cool ass boots.

Yeah Rose McGowan had like platform boots

and actually my character Mel has like similar

platform boots.

Sorta the holy grail of the 90's.

My first paid acting gig was a high school musical

board game commercial.

When I was like, ten I wanna say?

It was very exciting times.

Booked and blessed

(laughing)

My first job was independent movie called

'Double Whammy.'

Luis Guzmán and my dad, it was like the

first time I was ever on set, it was pretty crazy.

My first paid acting job was, we have a medical

drama at home in England called 'Casualty,' and I

played a nurse for a year.

It was good fun.

I played a nurse once.

One of my first auditions was for, a show

called black sails.

My first audition was 'Double Whammy.'

What the hell? Oh my god.

Are you kidding me? She just got it.

I feel so lucky.

I don't remember what my first audition was.

I feel like I auditioned for like Disney shows.

So it's probably one of those.

But nothing so scarring that you can share

it with us today.

(laughing) No

I first saw Sarah at this gala thing and it was

like one of those divine moments where I'm like

who's that girl, she's so cute.

That's nice.

I was sitting in Joey's with Oh yes.

With my real life sister and I was like

is that her?

We said hello. Should I say hi?

And we were both eating chick peas

and it was wonderful.

Yeah.

I don't remember where And she was so lovely

I first met you. I met you in the lobby.

I think I had. It's like a first date

you know?

Yeah, it's like a first date.

Meeting new people, but when everybody's like

little bit scared but open heart, it's really nice.

But I also felt like oh like we all actually all

really look like sisters.

Yeah

I remember thinking like oh wow we could

totally be sisters.

And then.

And then.

Here we are.

I mean always say my sister.

My sister's like three years older than me and

she's just super supportive.

I think my dad for me, he taught me to be like to be

patient, and to be strong, to make a plan and to kind

of help me when I would get frazzled about stuff.

My auntie, who passed away was just like everything

she was just like the most beautiful beaming light.

Thandie Newton has been the biggest mentor for my

like career I'd say, because I started off with

her on my first big gig, so.

That's so cool.

The first TV show that I loved was

'My So-Called Life' with Claire Danes.

My first favorite T.V show was Recess.

Oh my gosh, yes.

Spinelli.

My first beloved show was 'Dragon Tales.'

(Singing) Dragon Tales Dragon Tales, it's almost

time for Dragon Tales.

(inhaling)

It is so incredible.

It's wild.

Yeah, because for the pilot you know we shot in

real houses and kind'of more.

Location Location based

The places that we wanna keep using, they've,

they've made them.

Well the first magical encounter I've had if I

launch into this, it's going to be so long.

But, we've just had a lot of like crazy things

happen at our house.

Like the printer it will be unplugged and start.

I'm not kidding.

Sheets will come out of it, or the grandfather

clock that has no batteries will start ticking.

Like going 'ding dong' like in the middle of the night.

I'm still waiting for mine.

Any magical beings out there that wanna,

only if you're nice though.

Then you can say hi.

There will be like no one in the house and

someone will say hello?

No, Sarah What do you mean?

I'm not joking. That's scary.

I'm not joking.

I can. Who's saying hello though?

It's like a little, it's like a

young girls voice.

That's terrifying.

My mom always like, to this day she tells me

'do the right thing.'

And I think do the right thing is like relative to

everybody, but I think what that really means is

just like for yourself, do what feels right,

do what feels good.

My parents used to say to me like, who loves Sarah.

'mmm, daddy' and who else loves Sarah?

Sarah.

Love yourself. That is self love.

Yeah.

I'm getting kinda emotional. I know, it's like,

That's really sweet. Kinda beautiful.

It's a really cool thing that they've just always

always said to me.

Yours are both. I'm going to use that.

Really lovely, when Yeah

I heard that question I was like,

my parents taught me how to go to the toilet.

(laughing)

That's like the first thing they taught me.

The first app I check is instagram.

Well really it's my alarm, it's my snooze button.

Lately I've been more into Instagram.

We're getting into it.

Yeah we were really getting into it.

We're learning, we're learning how to do all

of the things, I mean she knows already, she's great.

Yeah she's the muse in it.

My first on-set ritual before I even get on set

is to meditate for twenty minutes at home.

For twenty minutes? I can't do five.

I have an app.

I thought you said I have a nap, I'm like

yeah that's what I would do.

(laughing)

People should be doing this every day anyway

but I think my on-set ritual is to brush my teeth.

Like just make sure, like sometimes it's really

early and you just need to make sure

you're like fresh.

Means you're like charging out the door.

Fresh and ready for the day.

Almond milk and coffee and hair and

makeup always.

I always fall asleep in the makeup chair.

Like with the brushes on my face, I'm just like.

And my dog comes to sit with me all the time, so

I cuddle him.

Does anyone have doggies?

(laughing)

That's kinda sweet, we should play this

game all the time.

We should, I know, because we spend like quite

a bit of time together now and I do feel like do

know you really well but.

Yeah. There's still more.

Like yeah. Little tidbit things

(together) Thanks Teen Vogue we hope you

enjoyed our firsts.
