Dun, dun, duh.

I always have to win, I don't know why.

[laughs]

[upbeat music]

Hi, I'm Vanessa Marano.

And I'm Laura Marano.

We're here at Teen Vogue.

And we're gonna play I Dare You.

[upbeat music]

Rock, paper, scissors.

Okay, we're just going.

Okay, well I think we want

to like switch it up a little bit.

Okay, so I'm gonna decide yours.

You're gonna decide my fate,

I'm gonna decide your fate.

What is the longest you went without showering

or washing your hair, be honest.

I have a saying.

[laughs]

People who shower in the morning,

shower for other people.

People who shower a night, shower for themselves.

I shower for myself everybody.

Trademark Laura Marano.

Wash my hair though, I've done a while.

I don't wash my hair everyday.

I washed it on Saturday and today is Wednesday

and I washed it this morning.

I washed my hair this morning

but I'm not gonna tell you,

because it is not my truth,

how long it was before that.

Yeah I don't think I want to know.

You might not.

Yeah, I don't.

I'm gonna get you a dare.

All right.

Just to really mix it up, go crazy.

Let the other person send a text to anyone in your phone.

Okay.

Aw but see, you trust me too much.

You know, I'm gonna do some crazy.

I'm gonna text Calum Worthy, who is in your phone.

[laughs]

Who you know through me,

and yet you and your boyfriend and Calum and his girlfriend

seem to always double date

and don't really you know, include me.

It's fine.

I mean, I text people back so.

Okay, what should I text Calum?

I like you because you have red vines for hair.

Okay, not that one.

I'll just write Do you like Red Vines?

'cause that's still weird but it's not too weird.

Like it's believable weird.

Hey, do you like Red Vines?

Wait, you know what I'll do?

I'll either do a weird emoji

or I'll do like a Haha or I'll do both.

Okay, great.

I'm gonna do a haha

and then I'm gonna do the cowboy hat one

'cause that just seems crazy.

The emotional journey you just went on,

trying to craft this text message.

But I really just want you guys to know,

it literally says Hey, do you like red vines?

Haha, cowboy hat emoji.

Oh he is writing back.

I kinda do yeah haha. How come?

But don't write back.

[laughs]

All right well I'm gonna do a dare for you.

For me?

Yes.

Let's see here.

Call someone random in your phone

and explain the rules of Monopoly to them.

Do we call Calum?

[laughs]

I'm just gonna call mom.

Please don't pick up, please don't pick up,

please don't pick up.

[Mom] Hey.

Hey. How are you?

[Mom] Good.

Good.

So there's a game.

[Mom] What's that?

There's a game, there's a game

[Vanessa] She's gonna be so confused.

There's a game called Monopoly

and in this game, there are a few rules.

[laughs]

Well I know, because it's just something

I think that we should talk about.

So basically, everyone has

a little bit of money to start with.

[laughs]

I start crying.

I know you think you know how to play Monopoly

but basically there's money

and you want to buy territories

and at the end, it's whoever is last standing wins.

Are those the rules of Monopoly?

[laughs]

We did not have a glass of wine,

this is just how I talk.

Were at Teen Vogue, it was a Truth or Dare.

She's fine.

We literally are doing the interview right now.

All right, I'm gonna go but I love you.

Goodbye.

[laughs]

Bye, love ya.

I mean, I know how to play Monopoly now, do you?

Make a sandwich while blindfolded.

Oh I have to check something really quick.

Just really, really quick.

I'm not moving anything.

Feels like everything's moving.

So the first thing you'd go for is bread

which was here, but now this feels like tomatoes.

You could go with tomatoes.

Ah, bread.

This is mayo.

I wanna help but I want to see you struggle.

Well you're doing a little of both.

You really think I'm helping?

[laughs]

I though your hand tried to stop the mayo from falling.

Mustard? Yeah let's do mustard.

Uh huh.

Did you put a tomato on of--

I don't know what you're talking about.

This is ketchup first of all.

Did the mustard just get moved over here?

Is that what happened at the beginning?

Wow, it's just really won't stay still.

I mean how badly do you want this mustard?

Doesn't feel like I'm anywhere near

based off of your reaction.

Let's see here, this is turkey.

I guess we're gonna use turkey.

You know what I'm most excited about?

What?

That this is already open.

I just can't find the mustard man,

I just can't find the mustard.

[laughs]

Not putting ketchup on a sandwich,

I'm not putting sriracha on a sandwich!

Thank you Laura.

Oh whatever, I'll just dump it.

Aw, you are a wild woman, Marano.

It's gonna be a lot of mustard.

I mean--

Did any come out?

Yes.

Okay, great.

Ta-da.

[clapping]

I mean.

[clapping]

You know what, it doesn't look terrible.

It's not all in place,

like it's definitely there's turkey up here

and no turkey down here.

Hey, neither are human beings.

That was meant for the not all in place

and not necessarily the turkey comment.

What is a style that you've never worn or rocked before

but wish you could.

Oo, just anything tall people do really

because I am so short.

Any of like the oversize stuff that I feel like

tall people always look good in,

I just feel like I can't rock

but I wish I could very much so.

Make up a song about the other person.

Oh god.

[snapping and clapping]

Oh wow.

[laughs]

Laura, Laura, she's not a bore-a,

she is wearing something sparkly,

she likes to talk-ely a lot.

Laura, Laura, pretty.

It was abstract.

I think if I heard that on Spotify,

I'd be like, this is interesting.

Make an Instagram story post

speaking in a completely made up language.

I don't think, I'm gonna be honest with you,

I feel like I'm not gonna,

it's gonna be a lack of commitment

because of the nerves.

Three, two, one.

Dot dot, Teen Vogue, scribble scribble.

[speaking gibberish]

Laura was saying that we're at Teen Vogue

and that she was just dared to do an Instagram story

in a made up language.

Yeah.

[laughs]

[speaking gibberish]

[laughs]

Well thank you guys so much for watching.

And please go see Saving Zoe,

out on July 12 on digital On Demand,

cable On Demand, and select theaters.

Whoo.
