When it comes to outfit inspo, TikTok's fashion side is the place to go. Between the amazing use of audio clips and the constant revivals of fashion trends, TikTok offers plenty of audio-visual style inspiration. The latest one? Fashion creators are showing off their Y2K Pop star-inspired looks to the tune of Britney Spears’s “Circus.”

The “Pop star outfit” TikTok fashion trend transforms the app users' into 2000s stars, showing what they would wear when they’re going to rehearsal, avoiding the paparazzi, or signing autographs. TikTok user @ageorama started the trend with a sponsored TikTok for brand Free People. In it, she’s seen in anything from flared jeans to platform flip-flops.

In the recreations of the trend, users have made their own addendums with stage-appropriate fashion. The trend gives light to a standout era in celebrity style, with looks very reminiscent of exact styles seen on celebs like Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, and Paris Hilton. One user even had the iconic “Dump Him” t-shirt Britney wore in that unforgettable pap shot. Keep watching for velour tracksuits, pleated mini skirts, boot cut jeans, and baker boy caps galore!
